Conservation of the habitat of Ranitomeya fantastica"true nominat"

After the conservation efforts of Plant For Future on the habitat of Ranitomeya fantastica “true nominat,” a section of forest was purchased from local farmers to protect this habitat. Dendrobatidae Nederland also made a significant contribution to this fundraising.

This video (9:42 min) provides an overview of the forest after one year of conservation and serves as a wonderful mini-documentary showcasing the diversity of life in this tiny piece of rainforest. It is truly amazing to witness such a richness of life in such a small area of land.

What is particularly exciting is that my colleague and I, as board members of Dendrobatidae Nederland, have been invited to open the newly built ranger station in this forest as contributors to this project in the near future. I will share updates here!
